Kindly note that all shipments are insured against transit damage. works great!! pristine water. Just remember UV works better if your tank water is already clean. dont expect it to scoop up waste and efficiently kill harmful bacteria as well. use it with other filters as the UV needs clear water in order to kill the free-flowing microrganisms. Secondly, this is to be used a few times a week not daily or full day or it will meet the end life way soon, can even damage the housing. It will also heat the water slightly as UV does so be careful to use it in smaller tanks, if you forget to switch it off like I did once, the water can be 30-32c. it also has a flow control(slower flow is better for the uv lamp to work) and maybe a 30-45 degrees of outflow valve rotation. my danios and rainbows love swimming againsts its flow when its on, as generally I keep lower flow in my tank. there is a small indicator at bottom to see the lamp is working.
