The world’s first professional freshwater aquascape dosing system, also suitable for marine saltwater tank.
The Chihiros Dosing Pump is part of a small system from Chihiros to automatically supply freshwater aquariums with sufficient nutrients. A good supply of nutrients is necessary for all aquatic plants in an aquarium to thrive vigorously and healthily. For this reason, an automatic dosing pump is the ideal tool to ensure a constant supply.
For optimal control of the fertilizations quantity, the dosing pump can be controlled with the Chihiros APP. Daily fertilizations can be carried out per head in doses of 0,2 ml up to 999,9 ml in 0,1 ml steps. Here, 0,2 ml is the smallest dose that can be regulated to deliver fertilizer.
In case of a power failure the settings are saved on the unit via an optional battery (CR2032 button battery/not included). There is also the function “Compensation of missed doses”. This means that in the event of a failure, missed doses for one day (from 0:00 o’clock) are subsequently completely supplied. Another function is the “Supplement Volume Monitor” setting, which displays the consumption and the remaining days (This feature will not take effect until the battery is installed).
The small system can be easily attached to a flat surface near the pool. With the Chihiros dosing pump, up to four different fertilizers can be added to the pool. Chihiros is producing 4 Dosing Bottles and a fitting Metal Holder separately. To make the pumping system complete, Chihiros can also supply a practical Acrylic Holder incl. Dosing Tube and Dosing Tube Holder, the width is only 3cm, and the transparent color can be well hidden. This accessory includes 10 meters 2mm/4mm tube, 2pcs 4 heads tube holder and 4pcs tube organizer.

How to Set Light Intensity?
There are many factors to be considered in light settings, which should be comprehensively considered according to tank size, the type and status of aquatic plants, Co2, and substrate fertility...
For example, in the early stage of a planted tank, the aquatic plants have not yet adapted to the new environment (including water quality, substrate, whether to use tap water, etc.), so the light intensity setting should not exceed 30%, which will help plants quickly adapt to the environment. If the light intensity is too high, algae will bloom, and the growth of algae will affect the growth of plants.
When the plants grow normally, if there is Co2 in the tank, it is recommended to set 50%-90% (if there are more negative plants, it is recommended to set 50%-60%, and half negative plants and half positive plants, it is recommended to set 60%-70%, and there are more positive plants, it is recommended to set 80%-90%); If there is no Co2, it is recommended to set 50%-70%, which can reduce the growth of algae.
As for color settings, it can be set according to the color of the plants. If there are more red plants, the red channel can be larger, and if there are more green plants, the green channel can be larger (Tank with more green plants will render to reddish by adding appropriate red channel). It is recommended to directly select the preset mode in our app like 'Red' or 'Buce' mode or fine-tune the preset mode according to your own preferences.
In brief, raising the aquatic plants first in the early stage, and then considering colors in the later stage, otherwise it will be easy to bloom algae
