Tropica Plant Growth Substrate
Tropica Plant Growth Substrate is a substrate for aquarium plants. By applying a thin layer under a layer of aquarium gravel, aquarium plants have sufficient nutrients. The layer functions as a nutrient substrate over a long period of time nutrients can deliver.
The main constituents are natural clay and turf. These have the property to slow the nutrients down to the roots of aquarium plants, but hitting simultaneously nutrients from the aquarium water in the soil. This can be a buffer with nutrients to be built, so that aquarium plants are always sufficient nutrients for the hands have to be lush to be able to grow.

Suggested use for Tropica Plant Growth Substrate
Plant Growth Substrate is a layer of 1cm thick is applied on the soil, during the construction of the aquarium. Over this layer, then the aquarium gravel is applied. Aquarium plants will quickly roots develop, so that the nutrients can reach and exploit. With the removal of aquarium plants may be the substrate to the surface and through the aquarium to distribute. Some caution is therefore advisable.

Where it frequently goes wrong is that people are too thick a layer of soil in the aquarium application. A thin layer of 1cm is more than enough. With a too thick layer, there exists the chance on bad water circulation, which bodemrot can arise. This can be counteracted by using a heating apparatus and a gravel layer where a sufficient water circulation can take place. In addition, the bottom of an aquarium as much as possible, with rest to be left. The regularly object of plant or change of décor will not be to the advantage of the stability of the aquarium work. With this in mind will be a fertile ground at all times contribute to a positive development of aquarium plants.
