Description Prime is the complete and concentrated conditioner for both fresh and saltwater, removes chlorine, chloramine and detoxifies ammonia It convert ammonia into a safe, non-toxic form that is readily removed by the tank’s bio filter, may be used during tank cycling To alleviate ammonia/nitrite toxicity, which detoxifies nitrite and nitrate, allowing the bio filter to more efficiently remove them It will also detoxify any heavy metals found in the tap water at typical concentration levels It also promotes the production and regeneration of the natural slime coat It is non-acidic and will not impact pH It will not over activate skimmers use at start-up and whenever adding or replacing water Direction Use 1 capful(5mL) for each 200 L(50 gallons) of new water for smaller volumes, please note each cap thread is approximately 1 ml may be added to aquarium directly ,but better if added to new water first If adding directly to aquarium, base dose on aquarium volume sulfur odour is normal For exceptionally high chloramines concentrations, a double dose may be use safely To detoxify nitrite in an emergency, up to 5 times normal dose may be used If temperature is >30 degree C and chlorine or ammonia levels are low, use a half dose Disclaimer Please note that liquid items like this will be shipped by surface transport if our logistic partner denies carrying by air This might cause delay in delivery which may be between 5-12 days depending on your location.

its seems that seachem prime is not original beecause i am using the prime from last 8 or 9 years when i had open cap of bottle there is very strong smell comes out but in your product there is no strong smell..could you please tell me what is the matter here?
when Prime is fresh stock, it will give little smell only, when it get older , it will get strong bad smell.

Prime can vary in smell based on the parameters of the warehouse during the time of manufacture. It does normally smell of Sulfur, but we have extensively tested the product and found that the difference in scent does not in any way effect how the product functions
